All media agencies engage in digital transformation by 2030
(VOVWORLD) -All press, radio and television agencies will implement digital transformation and operate a converged editorial model toward digital journalism by 2030, according to a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang discussed the planning and development of networks of press, radio, television, and electronic information, and publishers for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.
The draft planning urges continued investment in developing key multimedia media agencies, including Vietnam Television, the Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, and People’s Public Security Newspaper. These media agencies will be enabled to grow strong and play a leading role in national journalism.

VOV Vice President Pham Manh Hung said: “The Voice of Vietnam has submitted a project to move forward as the main multi-media and multi-lingual media agency. Multilingualism is crucial to introduce the voice of our country to the world which is our priority now for development."
"The Voice of Vietnam has broadcasts in 13 foreign languages. With certain innovative arrangements, VOV's electronic newspaper can fully integrate more than a dozen languages.”
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang assigned the Ministry of Information and Communications to review and complete the draft planning focusing on nature, orientation, substance, and openness, without conflicting with other plans.
