President To Lam receives New Zealand ambassador to Vietnam

President Lam praised the recent developments of bilateral ties, emphasizing that 2025 is an important milestone marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 5th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and New Zealand.

He asked for organizing meaningful activities and arranging high-level visits, to further deepen cooperation in all fields and elevate the bilateral relationship.

Ambassador Caroline Beresford affirmed her commitment to working with various agencies, ministries, and sectors of both countries to promote cooperation in potential fields.

The Ambassador hopes that during her term, she can help elevate the relationship between the two countries to new heights with substantive and effective initiatives.
